Rey's Stand

The Moment of Awakening.   The Lightsaber of Anakin and Luke Skywalker flies into her hand.  Choosing her over Kylo Ren to be worthy of wielding it in battle once again.  

She Fights with everything she has.  But is pushed back by Kylo Ren's aggression and advanced skill in lightsaber combat.   With her back against the wall, literally standing on the edge of a cliff while the snow falls over the battlefield.   She remembers..

 The Force..  It's Calling to her.   So she just lets it in.

This was completely painted and edited with lighting effects and detailed using GIMP-2.   I used a photo for reference only actually.   Believe that or not.  I really don't care.   I've been practicing and working and struggling to get better and better at this style of art.   I don't post EVERY single thing I make on here along the way between my good ones.  Pretty much, all of the extra's you don't see are trial and errors along the way.   Most of them just end up junked.   But I've spent months trying to improve, learn and better myself at this.   And this afternoon, having a group deny me entry because they said I edited a photo gave me the BIGGEST smile ever.   

I did it.   I made a photo-realistic picture of people actually.   And made someone think it was an actual photo.  Best complement ever from someone trying to be smug. LMAO
